The International Community School (ICS), a public charter school located in Dekalb County, Georgia was strategically designed to bring together refugee, immigrant, and U.S. native-born children in an academically challenging and nurturing environment.  As a charter school, ICS receives 30% less public funding per student than traditional public schools.

Last year's gala had a theme of "Sankofa, Journey Down the Nile," and featured the Burundi Drummers and Dancers of Atlanta.

This year's 2009 Gala will again feature the returning Belly Dancing appearance by Aneesa of Nazeem Allayl!
